USSA Announces the very first accreditation

The United States Staffing Association (USSA) is delighted to announce in this issue of Recruiting and Staffing Solutions magazine our first two firms who have earned the accredation: Advanced Medical Resources, AAC, (Executive Healthcare Recruiters) and Advanced Staffing Solutions, AAC (Healthcare Temporary Staffing) founded in 1987 by Kevin M. On the Fourth of July this year, USSA announced its development of a groundbreaking new credential for independent staffing firms, the Agency Accreditation Credential (AAC). By adopting this credential, USSA has identified a new way to qualify those independent and entrepreneurial firms who meet and maintain certain critical best business practices in offering staffing services. Business clients utilizing temporary, direct hire, tem-to-hire, contract, retained search, and recruiting services can now be confident that these credentialed agencies adhere to five measurable components of staffing operations, process, quality control, continuing education, experience, and certifications and association membership.

In the past, our industry has relied on employees within a firm to become knowledgeable in their profession, pass an exam, and receive an individual credential. When that employee left the firm, the credential went with them. Unfortunately, the training dollars spent on the individual's education also vacated the firm. Now with USSA's launch of this pioneering approach the firm will be credentialed and not the individual employee.
